Life Through a Pencil

The Adventure of Life

These are the three blogs that I've been juggling for a some time now. Each one has been an outlet for my different passions; my writings, my drawings, and the other for everything else happening in my life. But just the other day I had a revelation: why split my energy and attention between these three when I can combine them all into one ultimate blog? So that's what I'm doing, with the help of this tutorial on how to merge blogs together. I've chosen The Adventure of Life to be the one that this blog and the other will be transferred to, so if you want more of my artworks you'll find them over at that blog.

The Hundred Face Challenge: 1/100

Age 15
HB Pencil
The hundred face challenge is exactly what the name says; to draw 100 faces. Another element of the challenge is to draw with as many different art styles and with as many different art mediums as possible. Some faces in this series will be real people and others will be fictional. This one was drawn from my imagination; I named her Sona.

A Tear Drop of Sorrow

Age 16
Acrylics + 2H Pencil
Inspiration for this painting came from a scene from the T.V. show Prison Break as well as the ending of the movie The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. The concept was to capture the pure heart broken emotion of losing a loved one; to put the feeling of complete sorrow and despair into color. (Faint line through the middle was added by my scanner)

Colliding Worlds: Citure series #1

Age 15
Pen + Highlighters
This is the first artwork of a series that I titled Citure. The idea: to create artworks combining nature and city elements in both harmonious and opposing situations, drawn on items found around the house. This was drawn on a Halloween themed post-it note.
